I was thinking exactly of Bill Osco, thank you. I watched "Alice in Wonderland" in the last few months just as a lark. Compared to GTA 4,386, it's just laughable where things have gone.

I recall it was mostly a lot of East Coast vs West Coast. Osco had a family fortune. But even Jim and Artie tried their hand at "porn as art." New York was all about Lasse Braun and his machines, Reuben Sturman and the mob henchmen. When Ed Meese came down on porn, he was trotting out "Taming of Rebecca" as an example, replete with incest, pissing, pain (simulated), and all sorts of backhanded underage references. There was an old site called DVDManiacs that had Shaun Costello and Carter Stevens as members, they used to drop stories about sheepish mob guys asking if they could make "another one of those piss films" cause people liked them.
