Alicia Rio entered porn at the end of 1990 and appeared in over 200 movies between 1991 and '96. She won the FOXE Fan Favorite award in 1995 and 1996, and was nominated by AVN twice for Best Actress.



In 1996, her then husband hit and killed two people while driving to the airport under the influence of cocaine and valium. Their marriage fell apart after the fatal accident. Alicia began doing large quantities of cocaine and GHB, then her family disowned her.

Fortunately, the strong glass prevented her six-story leap. But when security entered the room to check out the disturbance, they found Rio slicing at her abdomen with a glass shard."

Alicia overdosed many times, and was briefly homeless. She lost everything and ended up in prison. After prison, she moved back to her parent's house and found God. However she still tried keeping one foot in the adult industry -- dancing and websites.
