Born in Colorado in 1956, De'Bella gave birth to Jewel De'Nyle in 1976. Jewel moved to San Diego around 1995 where she danced in strip clubs for a few years before starting her adult film career in 1998. Jewel initially worked with New Sensation and later became a founding co-owner on Platinum X. She made adult films through 2007.



De'Bella met and married Larry Schwartz when she was in her twenties. He adopted Jewel. Larry became a Colorado State Representative in 1994 and resigned his position in 1997 to take a job on a Colorado parole board. He was fired from this job in 2002 and arrested for being in possession of child pornography. He was also accused of molesting two stepchildren from a previous marriage.

Platinum X hired De'Bella as an administrative assistant around 2004. She decided to step in front of the camera in 2006.



Pervert husband Larry encouraged her, once saying, "She's doing it for the right reasons." Which might have been to bail his ass out of jail. She stopped by XPT in April 2007 for a member chat. She said during the chat that she had never worked with Dana Hayes. Unfortunately, nobody followed up with a question about whether if she were to work with Dana, would she lend Dana her cell phone?

De'Bella ended her career in 2008 after Jewel took issue with De'Bella using Jewel's name and fame to better her own career. De'Bella agreed to not make films for Platinum X. Her career ended at that point.

Jewel and De'Bella have since worked things out.



Jewel married and divorced at least four times. She now works as a beekeeper and cares for animals, and she has given De'Bella many grandchildren. Per KidRibz, she recently returned to the industry having started at OnlyFans. She stated in an interview, "I'm recently divorced and dating a younger guy who was clueless about my past but I was open about it...he encouraged my return as he felt I was too big a star..."



De'Bella divorced Larry a while back and has been in an apparently good relationship since 2014. She is now 66 and is mostly retired. She spends a lot of time with Jewel and her kids.
