The funny thing about statements like "now we can be human again" and the like is that the vitriol and hatred and inhumanity did not come from Trump or his administration. Rather it came from his detractors. Trump actually did a fine job from this conservatives perspective. Uncomfortable tweets and bluster and hyperbole and whatnot- I knew that going in. Three Supreme Court Justices, over 200 Federal Judges, USMCA Trade agreement, moving our Embassy to Jerusalem and a growing network of Middle East/Israel agreements. The man truly did want and try to get us out of endless wars and get our troops home.

Maybe the single best thing about Trump is his masterful ability to make people show the world who in the fuck they really are. He draws out the dark insides of people who have been good at hiding it in the past.
