Well, it's finally over.

These last four years have produced some horrific vitriol, even by XPT standards. I had to ban one of our best former posters because he wouldn't, couldn't, stop dropping N-Bombs and threatening to burn Jews in literally every single post. I regret that immensely, seeing as I personally tried to organize a "Welcome to New York" party for the man when the Mets went to the World Series only a few short months before. (I did manage to get both Jerky and Gia into a Brooklyn bar for the non-event, so it wasn't a total loss).

But we lost some other longtime posters over it. I suppose they just couldn't accept that it wasn't being pro-trump that got Steez banned. It was the incessant racism. The incessant, every fucking post you gotta do that shit. I told him, repeatedly, just tone it down a bit. Told him this is XXXPORNTALK, not KKKTalk. But he was obstinate, and the hammer fell. If some others felt butthurt over it, that's on them. I lost zero sleep over it.

What I am pleased about, these days, is that we've got ourselves a new poster who, although pro-trump, never once carried on like that. Never once dropped an N-Bomb; never once threatened to burn Jews. And although I do not agree with Mr. Charlie Yup, I thank him for helping to re-ignite the debate in as respectful and dignified a manner as XPT is capable of. Yes, I realize that is all relative, but I stand by it. I'm not sorry your dude lost, Brother, but I am thankful some newbie came along to remind XPT of what it once was. Maybe some of the others will see it wasn't about them; it was simply about one racist asshole.

And, with that, to answer daughterwife's question below, the answer is: Yes, your whole family is going to prison.
