I, who on a couple of occasions -- 15+ years ago -- had picked him up at his condo building in the heart of Hollywood, learned from him that he owns/owned a couple of rental condos in this same building. Imagine a green subcompact Kia from some second-tier rental agency, which was how he was rolling (for free). I could even imagine him hitting them up for a gasoline company credit card to pay for the gas.
