Trump strategically campaigned in a small group of states he needed to win to win the electoral college. He did it. Hillary Clinton just didn't have the stamina (mostly likely because she's a woman) and didn't bother to do the same. She thought her victory was a foregone conclusion. If the media is at all responsible for her loss, it's because they gave her a false sense of confidence in her victory.
