Just to add to JB's point. The whole "liberal media" crap has been a recycled republican talking point for about 30 years now. It's infuriating how something so stupid has worked so well to the point where reporters will try so hard that appear neutral and are scared to death to not be accused of being liberal they will rarely challenge a republican even on the most blatant Bullshit imaginable. Even if one hundred percent of reporters where communists it doesn't mean a whole lot of your bosses aren't, or let's say if you're NBC owned by GE who is one of the largest weapons manufacturers in the world. Then that whole line of reasoning goes down the toilet.

It's also even worse than just the republicans controlling the federal government. Something like 70% of all local government is red now.
