Even so, I know you can't fire the head of the FBI unless he's done something wrong. You certainly can't fire him because he won't stop investigating. That's what the I in FBI is for.

I'm pretty sure two of the posters on this board have worked for local prosecution agencies that are similar in purpose to the Justice Department. I'm pretty sure neither of them ever heard of such a thing before. At least not one who didn't then go to prison.
