You don't actually give a shit vice admiral and just want to sit there and be a smarmy prick but the short answer is that the benefits the ultra rich get from the bottom rung of society far out weigh the tax burden they've put into it. And you've also business's disproportionately benefit from public utilities like roads, water, power, etc. will usually get tax breaks in exchange for lowering wages and reduced safety laws and how shittily they can get away with treating employees.
And let's leave out the argument for a second of "what defines a rich person" and just use the far more defined dividing line of the extreme ultra rich like one percent of the one present. If you want to cry that the richest people pay almost all the taxes it's also true that a tiny microscopic fraction of the population literally holds more assets than the bottom half of the population of the entire planet. But you'd just say "it's the natural progression of capitalism" as if it's some kind of "natural" system and not manipulated by design. It's hysterical when people like you say things like "big government is anti capitalism" the capitalists ARE the fucking government. This discussion has been done a thousand times far better by people much smarter than either of us but in the end you don't give a shit anymore than you give a shit what your maid or whore thinks. You're the kind of person who defends sweatshops because "those are the best jobs they could get and if they didn't make 34 cents an hour they'd only be making 20 so I reality, the capitalist is compassionate!
