Sally Yates was not the Attorney General. Sally Yates was a Deputy Attorney General serving as acting Attorney General, an Obama Administration political appointee holding office as a placeholder on the implicit agreement that she would not politicize issues and undermine the policies of the Administration. Damn skippy she should've gotten the sack.
