It's a 2.5 hour or so drive from Anchorage to the fishing spot on the Kenai river and the road is mostly a two lane highway with quite a few sections where there are temporary passing lanes. If the speed limit is 65mph, you'll get stuck behind a group of cars going just over 60 where the road is two lanes. Once you get to a section where there's an addition passing lane, everyone floors it and most people don't bother to pull over to right lane like they're supposed to. So, to pass anyone, you have to do 90+ and constantly switch lanes to get around all the morons. Once the passing lane ends, traffic instantly slows back down to around 60mph. It drives me fucking nuts.
