Had my infusion of gamma globulin Tuesday. Went well until about 3/4 of the way in. I developed horrible chills with uncontrollable shaking and we had to stop the infusion. The nurse said it was a typical side effect and that's all I could tolerate. I start the subcutaneous injections next week. Apparently a little more involved than I thought. It involves four needles in the stomach and about an hour long process. I was thinking it was just a quick subcutaneous injection. Also expensive even with my insurance. Got to start cutting back somewhere I guess.
