CG- Silver had 7 titles on IAFD. I think the only time I saw him was in magazine spreads.
Maybe I'm wrong in my thinking but the move from NY to LA and from film to video seemed to coincide for that blase period from about 85 to the early 90's. The NY move pre 85 first and then the video that looked very strange and shitty.
