I still have not yet tried DiFara's, but they just an anniversary (50, I think) and introduced some new kind of pie, and the lines got about that long for the event. I think they're only 45 minutes at normal times.

My Egyptian friend utterly Panzered some really good pie from La Sorrentina near me by putting mayo on it. I took pics b/c that kind of travesty has to be documented, but I can't bring myself to post 'em.
