I have a lens question - i shoot one of the canon frames (7D? D7? i can never remember) and i love this 50mm f1.8 lens for the things I can do in low light situations. But I wonder what you use when you shoot your women?

I am quite technical but when i hit things like lighting theory my brain locks up.
