Well, the Democrats have tried to combat FOX news directly by attempting to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine as well as trying to get the FCC to audit the content of conservative news programs to make sure they aren't just giving the conservative side to their stories. And every time Rush says something controversial like calling Sandra Fluke a whore, the Democrats and their news channel minions call for him to be taken off the air. They have clearly been targeting these two for a while and all of their attempts to bring them down have failed. So they've given up and decided their only alternative is to take over the coverage of American sports.
