the porn industry in 2014 is about 50 percent and maybe less than what it was in 2004-2009. and there are more 40 percent more girls now as well. That's a terrible combination for bookings.

Now you have the top 50 or so stars working and the brand new 50 teen hotties as well. the other 900 girls in the business are fighting with each other for whatever is else (and its not enough to live on).

Why book an average porn chick when you have superstars that are available that day?

the agents are still taking way too many girls bc they could care less about each girls' monthly income, they only care about the total bookings the agency does. It makes no difference if Summer Brielle does 25 scenes in a month or 25 other girls do 1 scene each in a month to the agents.

less and less girls are moving to LA and living here bc they are starting to get the picture that there isn't enough work to move to LA full time. So now you have more girls coming in from out of town, which makes booking hard logistically. Also those girls have to pay agents to rent a room (about 250 a week average) and if the girl isn't working, that's a big number.

so why aren't all the girls escorting then instead? well because now you have more girls than ever before escorting too. the same glut of girls exists privately as well. Why see a second rate girl when you have top stars readily available for lower prices than ever?

this business is getting sadder and sadder each month.
