Maybe you should have a union -- the mainstream industry does, after all, even though it is probably even harder to get work there (and plenty of newbies would gladly work a network TV show for free for the exposure). But since it does have a union, when someone does get a job, they end up getting well paid, getting health insurance, etc. OK, yes, probably a pipe dream, because in the Hollywood SAG could shut down any studio that went non-union while in porn -- good luck with that.

The other observation is that today's porn for "male talent" apparently resembles what it was in the pre-Viagra days -- back then only a small group of men got all the work too, because they were known for being reliable with their hard-ons
