I've seen coyotes walking the streets of Beverly Hills at night in the winter as they come out of the hills looking for food. They look like large dogs except for their jaws look more elongated. I have heard stories that they are incredibly smart. Supposedly If you put out poisoned food, only one in a pack will try it and the others will wait to see if there are any ill effects.
