1914. The Great War. There was a bit of a stink that Canadians and ANZACs were being sidelined to hilight the contribution of non-white Commonwealth nations.
So many wars. It seems vain to call one Great. My father's great-grandfather fought in the Boer Wars. He lived but had he been killed in action, I would never have had the opportunity to accomplish so little.
