I should have asked what kind of compact? I use a G12 and a G1X, love em both but I almost prefer the G12 for its speed..


G12 is great for it's speed. I think it's the #1 thing to look for if you're looking for a compact camera. My iPhone takes great pics, and fast unless I'm in super low light, but it's still nice to also have a compact camera.
