One of the classic rock critic declarations is "The Grateful Dead are/were overrated." On Sep. 3,1977 they weren't.
20 minutes from my house. It was just an open field on the side of the road. Still was in the late 90's. I don't know now. I think my one buddy's mom and pop were at the show.
