Emmons Ave is basically a dead zone. Every other traffic light is out. Street lights aren't working. Any business with a basement is shut down. If they didn't have a basement, then the water went back out with the tide so as soon as they got electric, a couple places dried out and opened. Shit from all the first floors is stacked on the street.

I saw the NYPD escorting the National Guard into Brighton Beach last night. About 10 minutes later some Disaster Relief tractor trailer rolled in.
