Power was out here for 4-5 days, not quite sure you lose track of time. After 2 days, you quit hoping about electricity, somehow you feel lucky without flooding. just try to stay warm. Wait for lights, sit in darkness,Sleep away boredom, listen to radio, charge phones from car battery, go find open supermarket if you are lucky to have gas. then grab water, ice, scrounge barren shelves for batteries, pretzels, potato chips, snickers, apples, whatever won't spoil. it's surreal you don't know what to buy in survival mode. You start to feel like the zombies everybody is waiting for. Curfew from 7-7. Most roads pitch black. Down the street still without power.
