We're talking about going to one of the month by month options, phone- wise. I've been avoiding the whole interwebs on my phone thing, but I need to upgrade so I can use one of the gadgets to be able to take plastic at festivals and shows. Seems like everyone's offering unlimited everything for $50. Anyone have any experience with them?
I just hate the contracts so much. All the fees and taxes and all the other bullshit that keeps nickel and diming the bottom up.
If you pay the full price of a smart phone up front you can avoid being on a contract with one of the big companies. That probably doesn't work for you though with the cheapest Verizon phones being $330.
