I just sat through J. Edgar on HBO too. Suuucked. What a horrible way to tell a great story. The whole time I watched Leo, I thought about how much better Michael Shannon from Boardwalk Empire would have been as Hoover. There's so much good material there and they just treaded water over the top. Lame.

Sally Field's ass in the car. Yup, know it well. Gidget is rerun every saturday around lunchtime along with Flying Nun and Monkees episodes. It's on some retro station on cable and direct. The pervy shots in Gidget are feet shots. Typical barefoot teen on the bed talking on the phone scenes, but the camera lingers just enough to make you notice. Barbara Hershey is in one episode during a slumber party. Good stuff.
