I tried to sit through J. Edgar on HBO on Saturday. It just couldn't keep my interest. They jumped from decade to decade without any logic. Here was a man many people considered evil and did a lot of sleazy things. It could have been compelling, but I think Leonardo DiCaprio was miscast and every time I see Armie Hammer in anything I think of him as the Winklevoss twins in The Social Network and nothing more. I think he will be struggling to find feature work in a couple of years and will show up on made for TV Lifetime / Hallmark movies on a regular basis after that.
