Devastated? Please. I'll agree with you that the POTUS can't "fix" the economy, other than being the head cheerleader. But what he can do is threaten more taxes, threaten more fees, threaten more regulations, threaten more fines and push the theory that successful businesspeople didn't create their own success and that their success somehow belongs to...well, I think we all know who he thinks it belongs to. Does all that make businesses feel like expanding or hiring people?

OK, tri. Here's where you tell us he didn't mean that people don't build their own success, that it was taken out of context. Oh, and that it's racist to call him on his stupidity.

The fact is the man has never had a real job, other than as a teacher and community organizer. Oh, and 18 months in Congress. Put simply, he wasn't, and isn't, qualified to do the job.

Is the other guy any better? He's had a job. He's met a payroll. Richer than God, but he's closer to real people than the current POTUS.

Neither are the best person for the job. So for me it boils down to ideology. Give a massive portion of your income to an unwieldy bureaucracy to trickle it back to you in "services". Or a system that still steals your money at the point of a gun, but not as much. Porn, weed, guns, abortions, race, "free" health care. Just distractions. Let me keep the majority of the fruits of my labour and I'll work out the rest myself.
