Didn't Slater have a run with E during the cartoonish days?

Journey has been popping up recently at a lot of the fan conventions. Read an interview where she said the casual racism in the south at that time really screwed with her head. She had no wrestling background and had no idea that her and Slater's gimmick would be so hard on her.
