I am not sure you understand what trolling means. He was not intentionally trying to illicit a negative emotional reaction from you. He was putting the thread in a more appropriate place where people were/are more likely to see it.

If I were trolling you I would argue a position I don't actually care about just to enrage you. Bornyo did not do anything like that.

Perhaps you could explain why thread views matter to you? Status symbol? E-penis points?
For example I have no clue how many views any of my threads have gotten because that doesn't matter, they accomplished what I wanted them to do. Sounds like your thread accomplished exactly what it was meant to?

Or better yet since you know the thread view count before it was moved just add that number to the current count if accuracy is important.
