Ever heard of The Adventures of Pete and Pete? It was a kids show around 92-93 that was directed by a bunch of trendy NY/NJ music video directors. Guests include Michael Stipe, Iggy Pop, Steve Buscemi, Jeanene Garafalo, Sid Straw, the kid who played McLovin, Michelle Trachtenberg, etc. Here is one of my favorite bits:
