I had pork and beans for lunch. Yesterday I soaked dried beans over night. This morning I put the beans and a ham bone I saved in the crock pot on high. Added some onion, spices and a little honey(but maple syrup works good too) after a couple hours and let it cook for another couple hours. Came out great. The ham that was still on the bone just fell off. Way better than stuff out of a can.
