Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about when I say the Obama fad will pass. It's getting there, giving the MA defeat, that gives him fair warning to turn it around. It's just not there yet.

If McCain hadn't gone bananas under the stress of trying to win the presidency at a moment in time when Republicans were terribly unpopular and picked Palin as Obama's parallel, it would have happened before the election.

Usually when an American politician talks about this, they mean lower taxes and let the market do its magic. One of the strangest things in politics today is that Obama thinks this means the government is supposed to go out and hire a bunch of people.
