The national debt is going to be like the mortgage crisis. A lot of walking around acting like it's not a big deal. Then, the bubble bursts and everybody's like, "Why the fuck did they let it get that fucking big to begin with??"

At least the prices in the housing bubble, everyone believed. The bubble in the national debt, you've even got journalists on television who understand enough to bitch about it being wrong.

Saw a blurb on TV where the interest on the national debt is supposed to total, at least, $774 billion a year. That's before you start paying down on the principal.
