Policies change when a new administration comes in, Einstein. You might recall Obammy said he was going to approach foreign policy differently. His experience as a community organizer led him to believe "more dialogue" (lol) was the key to talking Iran and North Korea out of their nuke programs. The administration itself heralded it's innovative new approach in Afganistan/Pakistan of "reaching out to moderate elements of the Taliban". That didn't work out too well for the amateurs, did it?
