I'm playing vocab proctor tonight and you FAIL.
Even rugs are Asian as Oriental is a direction (meaning to the east). It was first used to define what was east of Great Britain, they being the superpower at the time. BTW, Occidental was the term for to the west, so I guess we're all Occidentals in a non-PC world.
