True, but the more you seek perfection, you might just as well title your ideal mate "soulmate", or "partner of your dreams". It's better to compromise, and deal with each other's imperfections, otherwise you'll go apeshit because one party can't learn to break old habits.

I totally agree with your assessment on role-playing, however, because it's all an act & shouldn't be construed as anything but.
