Regarding Coke's question, it's still an ongoing debate even on food forums. Where humans meant to be veg? Or omnivore? Personally, I don't think either way is unhealthy. The optimum diet for both/either vegs or meat eaters should be MOSTLY plant based, filled with raw (uncooked) vegs and fruit.

Where else would hunter-gatherers have obtained the compact protein/energy that meat provides? Is there enough time in the day to do that much gathering?

Doesn't man need vitamin b12? Where else besides meat would early man have obtained this vitamin?

Why would it be more healthy to eat raw when your ancestors survived/evolved with cooked foods for thousands of years? Wouldn't your bod be expecting cooked foods? Cooked food is often easier to digest and more free of germs/bacteria.
