Ummm... not only did she show up but it sounds like she took a lot of wind out of the Government's sails by testifying that (1) she "had fun" working for Max, (2) was apparently well compensated for it,and (3) was able to eventually "grow up," get a real job, have a family and enter "normal" society. Kinda demolishes the bible-thumpers implied arguments of depravity.




I'm just wondering whether any of her comments are even relevant to the actual issues. I thought the Miller test was whether the material offended community standards, not whether the actresses were well paid or got health benefits.

Isn't the only purpose of a witness like this to prejudice the jury one way or the other?
