I watched Kick-Ass. I went into it with really, really low expectations and it was much better than I thought. A fan of comic based movies, comix, anime and manga will probably enjoy the film much more than a non-geek. Watch the original spiderman movie first and you'll see a bulk of the locations look or are the same as that film. Alot of parody and "homage" going on that is understated and some that is not so understated. I even liked the semi-balance of Kick-Ass, his abilities and his role compared to Big Daddy and Hit Girl.
