check city of men is from the same producers, they made a series and a movie with the same name, very good. Another very fucking good Favela (brazilian slums) themed movie is Tropa de Elite or Elite Squad, is about the Brazilian Police's death squads in the favelas(try to watch the movie with subtitles, traduced version sucks)
Agreed, good movie. Lil Ze was like Buckwheat possessed by Satan. I already have City of Men but haven't watched it yet. I'll check out Tropa de Elite When I get a chance.
