I hated it. I also hate M. Night Shyamalan- personally. I watched this movie so my hate can be validated. Did you watch Lady in the Water? Did anyone? OMG that was bad. I've never seen a film try so hard in my life. It was worse than Nightfall and that's the worst film of all time.
just watched "the crappening" last night. what kind of fuckery WAS THAT? i had wanted to see this SO BAD last summer... i love mark wahlberg (shut up), but he was horrible in this horrible movie. did anyone see that SNL skit last weekend, starring andy samberg (?) as wahlberg? well, this movie could/should have been called "mark wahlberg talks to plants." zooey deschanel played perhaps the most unlikable, obnoxious character in the history of cinema. i had read the reviews, so i was expecting a C movie... but i'd give it a D-. if zooey's character would have done me a favor and killed herself --painfully-- i would have given it a D. of course my husband loooved it, so i couldn't turn it off and watch the season 5 finale on 'x files'. bitch.
