I have not seen the animated Hellboy films, but they are bloody inexpensive if you want to pick them up. I've seen them as cheap as ten bucks a pop. As for the Movie, it's good. It's not Fight Club or Shawshank Redemption good, but it's good. Funky ass effects, cool bad guys and good guys, well written and funny in spots.

You can find much worse ways to waste two hours on film. Trust me.
