Recently I've been extorted into watching a series of Civil War films that I didn't want to see, incluiding Glory with Ferris Broderick, The Red Badge of Courage with Audie Murphy, and Gettysburg with Tom Berenger. The straw the broke my back was the awesomely pasty They Died With Their Boots On starring Errol Flynn and Olivia deHavilland.

In retaliation, I required an uninterrupted viewing of the director's cut of How The West Was Won with:

Karl Malden
Henry Fonda
Gregory Peck
George Pappard
Debbie Rynolds
Jimmy Stewart
Eli Wallach
Richard Widmark
John Wayne
Harry Morgan
Agnes Moorhead
Walter Brennan
Ken Curtis
Lee Van Cleef
Spencer Tracy (narrator)

When the french horns start blaring out the introduction, you get instant wood...but like the Oregon Trail, it's a long, long road from there. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mZ3DUb-JN4&feature=related

I'd rather just rewatch the scene from Tombstone when Kurt Russell points the shotgun at Ike Clanton and yells, "You tell 'em I'm comin'...and Hell's comin' with me! HELL'S COMIN' WITH ME!!!!" http://youtube.com/watch?v=ynKoZD-sFi4
