I think you'd be surprised by "my left foot". It's not your typical "overcome any obstacle" movie. The characters are real, they are not likable for much of the time and it isn't heavy handed with the message.

The other thing is of the three movies you mentioned- Daniel Day is a totally different person in each movie. It's amazing.
