Quote: Fatty, Son of Sam is a fab movie, Do The Right Thing is awesome and Jungle Fever is even better, I liked School Daze, the musical numbers were crazy, but I like his movies. Crooklyn and Clockers (filmed in the projects on the other side of my area) are real good too. I just watched Girl 6 last nite for the 20th time, only thing on at 2am, Madonna's part is cool the way she reads her the rules, that's a pretty good flick.
Going to watch Last Exit To Brooklyn, nitey nite folks.
Do The Right Thing is easily in my top 20 of all time.
I didn't like the "love story" portions of it. Rosie Perez, Ruby Dee/Ossie Davis. I would have like the movie better if these had been omitted.
Danny Aiello was fantastic. John Turturro & Giancarlo Esposito were stellar. I enjoyed everything that involved the pizza parlor.
I didn't like Jungle Fever at all. Clockers fell flat for me. Didn't like it; didn't dislike it. Possibly because I have no sympathy for the City's drug dealers and their families. Though the acting was supurb with Keith David and Keitel at the top of their games.
