You are insane. Odd more people don't pick that up.

My stepmom says that all of the stores run by "The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea company" honors the policy. In addition to A&P, those would include PathMark [as I noted] and Waldbaums. She is mostly a Waldbaums shopper.

I do Pathmark & Food Basics. A&P isn't very close to me and the only Waldbaums I knew was in Newport and changed to an A&P years ago.
