I usually stay out of these types of posts for obvious reasons. However I do want to let those reading this know that what you hear from LAPD must be taken with grain of salt.

They put out a statement that the drivers were going 90 mph. They got that estimate from a 9th grader who says he witnessed the cars. He was the only witness to estimate a speed of anything over 50-60 mph. LAPD is feeding the public false and sensational information in an attempt to sway the public and the eventual jury pool.

Do not believe everything you hear, read or see.
