If you are going to use the fewer x=fewer deaths caused by x as the basis of your argument, you might as will just ban everything ever invented. No gun has ever jumped off a table and started shooting people without being attached to someone's finger. Don't blame the tool, blame the fool using it. No one blames the hammer when some goof mashes his thumb while using one.
